SyamBharat Yadav born in 1977 in Hyderabad, is an National Awardee who was trained under Eminent Artists Thota Vaikuntam, He studied BFA in Painting from S.V. College of Fine Arts, Osmania University, Hyderabad, 2002 and MFA in Painting from S.N. School of Fine Arts, Central University of Hyderabad. He is credited with solo exhibitions such as “Pastoral inspiration”, Hyderabad art Gallery, Hyderabad in 2008, “Beyond the Animal Silhouette” Shridharanj art gallery, Delhi in May, 2011 and a preview at Shirshti A Gallery, Hyderabad, in 2011.
He participated in several groupshows in India and Abroad such as Imago Mundi by United Colours of Benetton, Venice Binnalae Arts 2013, India art fair (Feb 2013) New Delhi at Shirshti art gallery, Hyderabad 2013.
In the wake of modernization the natural elements have become mere spectators to an ever increasing domain of the urban infrastructure. With each natural terrain being trespassed and changed according to the convenience of the mankind, the concern for the myriad elements belonging to the ecosystem has become necessary.The bull remains a strong form and a personal symbol of ‘nature’ to syam Bharat. His childhood days that were spent in its close companionship, have left an indelible mark on his soul. And so naturally and instinctively the bull has become his protagonist, the central figure, the basic core around which he weave his expressions.
While human beings were supposed to be a part of the ecology, the strength of knowledge and power has excelled in making them the strongest, amongst all flora and fauna. Shyam's deep concern about the same gets exemplified through his works.
