Biswanath Dey has completed his BFA and MFA degrees in painting from The Indian College of Art and Draftmanship and Rabindrabharati University respectively. He collects his subject from everyday experience of any sort- be it contemporary economic issues, societal changes or spiritual perception. He is adept at using all of acrylic, mixed media and watercolour. While visual satisfaction of his creation is utterly imperative to Biswanath Dey, he puts even greater emphasis on the content.
