Rakesh Sadhak obtained his BFA in Sculpture from The Government College of Art and Crafts Calcutta in 2012 following which he received his MFA in Sculpture from I.K.S. V.V. (C.G.) in 2014. A highly skilled and gifted artist, Rakesh Sadhak makes unique and thought provoking sculptures which have earned him accolades from far and wide. Amongst those that are noteworthy are Odisha Lalit Kala Academi Award in 2013, South Central Zone Cultural Centre Award in 2013, Nagpur, Debiprasad Roychowdhury Award Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, AIFACS Annual Show Award in 2016 and Art Society of India, Award, 2018. He also received the Certificate of Merit 2011 ,Academy of Fine Arts Annual Exhibition,Certificate of Merit 2009 ,Government College of Art and Craft, (Kolkata) and Certificate of Merit, Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation 2018.
