Lalu Prasad Shaw, born in 1937 in Bengal, is a renowned artist and printmaker celebrated for his elegant, detailed depictions of Bengali life. Drawing inspiration from Kalighat Pat paintings, Ajanta murals, and the Company School of Art, he developed a unique artistic style marked by bold lines, refined color palettes, and minimalistic backgrounds.
