Sukanta Sarkar

About Sukanta Sarkar

Sukanta Sarkar completed his M.F.A. from Rabindra Bharati University, 2007, and B.V.A. from Indian College of Arts & Draftsmanship, 2005.

A painting takes on its 'ownness' when the artist no longer has full control. Sarkar's painting is a story of beauty woven with magic, unfurling an enigma of our blunt reality.

Commission enquiry: Sukanta Sarkar

Tell the gallery what you have in mind — the subject, roughly the size, where it would hang and by when. We take it to the artist and come back with whether it is something they would take on, what it would cost and how long it would take.

Not every artist accepts commissions, and the answer comes from them rather than from us.
