Ashoke Mullick graduated from the Government College of Art & Craft,Kolkata. Greatly influenced by the works of Gagendranath Tagore,his preferred medium is oil. He was awarded the Cultural Scholarship by the Government of India in 1981-1982,to work under the mentorship of Bikash Bhattacharjee.

His recent solo shows have been showcased in Kolkata,Mumbai,New Delhi & Jakarta. His group shows abroad includes-France,New York,Japan,Singapore,Sweden & Germany.
