Samir Aich is a passionate & energetic explorer of the boundless limits in art & life. Ardently in love with life, he confesses that all his art & inspiration are essentially & intimately knotted to his physical existence & lived experience. His mode of expression constantly changes & new directions are perpetually sought, but like a Renaissance artist, a central humanistic concern guides him throughout.

As an artist trained in the meticulous precision of commercial art from the Govt.College of Art & Craft,Kolkata, his paintings initially began with the most recognisable forms. These naturalistic figurative representations were presented with touches of imagination & emotion. As a tireless experimenter, Aich’s ever-productive creativity kept adding newer dimensions to his expression.
