About this work

Godzilla is worked in mixed media on canvas, dated 2014 and sized just 11 × 13 cm, by far the smallest of Diplekha Dey's eight works in this catalogue. It is catalogued under People and Portraits, alongside two other small 2014 works on paper, Untitled and Tsunami.

Diplekha Dey

"Our surrounding incidents, the news and city culture reach out to me, but I receive them in my own way through imaginary thoughts. In my works these known sights and situations are transformed into unknown worlds.
