Kartick pal lives in Murshidabad district, a famous historical place of heritage buildings, rich culture, rituals, and various art forms preserved and protected by the serene Bhagirathi and green nature. He has been born and brought up there seeing his own family artisanship in pottery that helped him develop artistic mind and aesthetic sense. Colours, clay, patterns, making of idols ....runs in his veins from his very childhood. He pursued his bachelor’s degree in fine arts from The Indian collage of Art and Draftmanship, Kolkata, later he did his master’s degree in drawing and painting from Govt. Dungar collage, Rajasthan. He has grown up surrounded by nature , village scape, historic architecture , sculptures of gods and goddess that has immensely influenced his paintings and indulge him to paint both realistic ,impressionist and large scale works with a hint of surrealism . He like to developed his paintings with abstract forms of nature,living beings and mysteries . He loves to paint the nocturne.Present political scenario, lifestyle of common people, human psychology among others are the favourite subject matters he lokes to work with. He is fond of working with water colour on paper. His craftsmanship lies in capturing something by transparent glazing techniques.
