Kishore Pratim Biswas studied at the Government College of Art & Craft,Kolkata from where he obtained his BFA in 1996. Primarily starting his career in watercolours, he later shifted to using acrylics,oil & mixed media. Today he stands on a solid intellectual platform & his work reflects a unique streak, where colour is of great importance.

Since 1996, he has held his solo exhibitions at the Academy of Fine Arts,Kolkata;the Lalit Kala Akademi,New Delhi; the Jehangir Art Gallery,Mumbai; the National Rail Museum,New Delhi amongst others. His group show participation includes those in Dubai,London,Bangalore,Mumbai,Kolkata,New Delhi etc.

He received the Sunil Das Award from the Government College of Art & Craft in 1995.
