T.M. Aziz,born 1962, after completed his B.F.A. at the Government Arts College, Trivandrum and went on to study at Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi. His paintings focus on people, images of whom are originally derived from photographs. Using these as his base, he builds on the figures by giving them monochromatic surroundings in a way that this juxtaposition brings out the central subject further.
