Bhaskar Lahiri draws his inspiration from the spectacular manifestations of the ancient civilizations all around the world, especially that of India. He is enchanted by the knowledge of age-old Indian philosophy, history, religion, literature and folk-culture from which he creates his imageries and houses them in his compositions.
