About this work

The Cutter is an acrylic on canvas, 30 × 91 cm, dated 2015, taking a landscape of sea and sky as its subject. The catalogue carries no further biography for Puspen Roy beyond the medium and date; its birth-year field (1879) is implausible for an artist dating works to the 2010s and is not repeated here.

Puspen Roy

Puspen studied B.V.A. (First Class) in painting at Indian College of Art & Draftsmanship, Rabindra Bharati University, 2005.

8 works by this artist are available.
