"There are numerous stories of different God and Goddesses
reside in Hindu mythologies which are very significant in today’s
technological life. Based on Hindu mythology discussed in
Ramayana, Mahabharata or Purana, there are so many stories
narrated with the characters are the main subjects of my
paintings.
In contemporary art practices, my predominant interest in recent
years is the stories which are still reflecting its presence at
modern days but the time and space have changed eventually.
These are the mainly source of inspiration which insisted me
doing the works dealing with the mythological characters.
In my art practice, I am basically representing the modern
technological time as well as materialistic world through the
ancient mythological stories. At present, mobile networks as well
as internet are become the primary communication medium and
people get used to it. The addiction for this socio-techno culture
is giving the opportunity to open the door of virtual world leaving
the real space and disturbing the mindful activeness towards a
daily life.
Now–a-days we cannot imagine our day without this cyber
culture. The spiritual orientation and the inheritance of the
cultural environment have been projected through my
presentation. These is done purposefully so that viewer can
connected with the paintings very easily as these are very

coherent and relative with our recent world and become the part
of our lives. The changing society and its inevitable acceptance
towards cyber culture are the core element and the main concept
of my works."
