I am Satyam Singh and I am an art practitioner. I have completed my bachelor degree in fine arts, specialization in painting from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University and pursuing my master degree in painting from the same institution. Basically I work with tempera process to construct a landscape which carries mixed culture of my own city Varanasi and Santiniketan. Landscape is a cultural construction but land is a geographical phenomenon. My landscape is constructed with local narrations, and fragments of landscape. I am trying to connect the organic patterns (natural motifs) with contemporary signs. I believe in shifting nature and change but a sustainable change.
