Srabani Sarkar is an acclaimed printmaker based in Kolkata. She graduated from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan and completed her post-graduation from the faculty of Fine Arts at the Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad University, Baroda. She draws her inspiration from her immediate surroundings, tinged with a sense of drama and surrealism. Sarkar's graphic prints are noteworthy for their monumental scale and sense of dynamism.
